Nice enough rooms, but the shampoo/conditioner & body wash were all empty on arrival, as was the tissue box. Handy to have crockery & cutlery in the rooms. The attached restaurant would die from lack of patronage if not connected to the motel, where guests can charge-back to their rooms. Food was ordinary, at best. How do you overcook a chicken schnitzel? Tiramisu looked great, but was just coffee soaked sponge cake under whipped cream. The wait staff tried hard & were friendly. We ate in for 2 of our 4 night stay, then went elsewhere.
Executive room was spacious with a very large bed. Stayed for 6 nights. Room was not serviced every day. Parking was a bit tight to manoeuvre vehicles out of. Short walk to shops. Spitting distance from the train station and a walking path on the Burnett River. Overall experience OK.
The Motor Inn shines with friendly service and a prime location. Stayed here for work. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Don't miss dining at the Canecutter Kitchen which is the attaching dining. The food, especially the salad… yes I know salad, is phenomenal and far exceeds expectations. All staff travelled with were very impressed by the food and service! A great spot!
King size bed, great bathroom, very quiet for where situated in town. Restaurant meals are nice. Definitely be staying again

The rooms are spacious, clean and well equiped. The location is great, close to everything and if you don’t have a car, it’s a quick, easy walk. If you do, accessible free parking! Win!!

Top notch motel. More like a 4 star hotel. Super clean and friendly staff. 10 to 15 minute flat walk to great pubs for dinner. Definitely would stay again. Jo was very helpful and accommodating.

Outside looks outdated but rooms nice and the dinner meals was great
What is interesting is you can eat outside watch the trains go by
Close to walk to shops and river and park which has a zoo !
